Smule adds Snapchat lenses to its AutoRap music app | Music Ally

Music apps firm Smule is the latest company to use the Snap Camera Kit launched by Snapchat’s parent company.

Smule has integrated it into its AutoRap app, which lets people choose beats, rap over the top and share the results. Now they can add Snapchat’s augmented-reality lenses (filters) to their videos in AutoRap’s iOS app, with Android to follow.

Smule said it plans to also use lenses in its flagship singing app Smule later this year. Video has been available in AutoRap since June, as part of a wider revamp of the app.
