New York-based Round Hill Music has inked a worldwide publishing deal with Craig David, which includes all of his back catalog to date, and a futures agreement that will see all of his new music administered by the company.
This agreement includes the music publishing rights to all of Craig David’s albums to date including his debut Born to Do It.
Craig David is one of the UK’s most successful male solo artists and in his 20-year career has enjoyed 23 UK Top 40 singles, nine UK Top 40 albums, 5 billion streams worldwide and multi-platinum status in more than 20 countries around the world.
He has also scored two UK No.1 albums and received multiple BRIT Award and Grammy nominations, 4 MOBO Awards, and three Ivor Novello Awards.
Round Hill Music was founded in 2010 by Josh Gruss and owns the publishing rights to over 100,000 songs recorded by the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, Bruno Mars, Meatloaf, Ronnie James Dio and Judas Priest – as well as the master catalogs of The Offspring, Triumph and Bush, among many others.
In 2018 the company completed its biggest acquisition to date buying established UK music publisher Carlin Music, and thereafter established a London office in Camden town.
Round Hill Music also includes Round Hill and Black Hill Records, Round Hill Nashville – a Nashville songwriter services group, and Zync – a specialist salesforce for synchronization licensing. In addition to London Round Hill has offices in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville.
