WMG’s ADA sets up new ADA Latin division in Miami | Music Ally

Warner Music Group’s in-house indie distributor ADA Worldwide has a new offshoot: ADA Latin. It’ll be based in Miami, but will oversee Latin America, Latin music in the US and activities in Spain and Portugal.

ADA has hired Juan Paz as MD of the new division, and he’s been working at the company since June building the new team. Paz previously led Latin-Iberian digital marketing for Sony Music, and has also worked with artists including Bomba Estéreo and Superlitio in his career as a manager.

Important context too: he worked for Music Ally! Juan was our head of research and special projects from 2007 to 2011, and we’re still missing the sound of Dio’s ‘Holy Diver‘ blasting out regularly in the office since he left for label-land.

“There’s so much opportunity, especially in this region, and the local artistic community will benefit from having a strong advocate and partner to rely on,” said Paz about his new role this week.
