IDOL hires Marit Posch as General Manager Germany | Music Business Worldwide

French digital distributor IDOL has hired Marit Posch as General Manager Germany.

Posch started out working as Head of PR at Berlin-based label, BPitch Control.

She also worked as a booking agent at Magnet Musik, in addition to helping Modeselektor and Catnapp with managing their careers.

Posch set up Modeselektor’s label Monkeytown Records and worked with the label for 10 years.

IDOL distributes labels and artists such as Erased Tapes, Record Makers, Grand Management, Heavenly Sweetness, HighNote, InFiné, Glitterbeat, No Format, Noton, Proper Music Group, SRD, Tresor records, Sun records, and more.

IDOL subsidiary IDOL Tech services provide technology services to music companies worldwide such as Because Music, Concord Music Group, Ditto, Fluve Digital (Som Livre), Kompakt, [PIAS].
