Deezer launches ‘Home Sessions’ from emerging artists | Music Ally

The latest lockdown-themed music streaming sessions come from Deezer, which launched its new ‘Home Sessions’ feature yesterday. It involves getting artists to record cover versions from their home studios, which are being gathered in a dedicated Home Sessions playlist. The focus is mainly on emerging artists: among those featured already are Lukas Graham, Joesef, mxmtoon, Griff and San Holo.

The new initiative sits alongside Deezer’s ‘Stay At Home With…’ series of playlists curated by established names including Calvin Harris, Marshmello, Deadmau5 and David Guetta.

Also new from Deezer this week: an ‘In Progress’ feature for podcasts, which will help listeners pick up spoken-word shows where they left off listening, if they didn’t finish episodes.
