Spotify Is Blocking Playlist Transfers says SongShift
Spotify is not letting users easily transfer their playlists to Apple Music and other services, according to transfer utility SongShift.
“The Spotify Developer Platform Team reached out and let us know we’d need to remove transferring from their service to a competing music service or have our API access revoked due to TOS violation,” writes SongShift. “To continue to provide some level of support for Spotify, we’ll still be supporting transferring from other services to Spotify.
Thus far Spotify has not commented.
For now at least, some other services can still facilitate the transfer.
