Leaked TikTok presentation reveals new data on usage | Music Ally

An internal marketing presentation from TikTok has revealed some new stats on the app’s audience and usage. Bloomberg got its hands on the report, which focuses on Europe.

Among the claims: that TikTok has 17 million monthly active users in the UK alone – a quarter of the population – with 40% of those users aged between 18 and 24. The average British TikTok user opens TikTok 13 times a day, spending 66 minutes using it.

The presentation also revealed active user totals for France (11m), Germany (10.7m), Spain (8.8m) and Italy (9.8m) and also a skew towards women, who are 65% of TikTok’s active users in the UK, and nearly three quarters in Spain. TikTok’s official public figure for Europe as a whole is more than 100 million users.

Meanwhile, analytics firm Sensor Tower claims that TikTok was the most downloaded app in the world in August, with 63.4m installs across Android and iOS. The biggest market for new installs that month? Indonesia.
