Jonathan Shank has announced the formation of artist management and production company Terrapin Station Entertainment where he’s joined by the roster he previously represented at Red Light Management.

Shank previously served as a senior management executive and tour producer at Red Light Management. During his time at the company Shank led Red Light’s family entertainment division, producing tours for Peppa Pig Live!, Disney Junior Dance Party, Disney Junior Holiday Party, Fresh Beat Band and Octonauts. The past few years he earned Pollstar Awards nominations for Best Non-Music Tour of the Year for Disney Junior Dance and Peppa Pig’s Surprise.

His management clients include Scarypoolparty – who was featured last year as one of Pollstar’s rising “Hotstars” – along with Maddie Poppe and Victoria Justice.

Shank confirmed with Pollstar that he’s brought along his team at Red Light, who “now all have positions at Terrapin.”  The staff includes Chaz Hamman as EVP Touring and Production, Steve Lundy as EVP of Business Development, Emily Frost as Creative Director, and Kelly Brickell as Executive Assistant, according to Celebrity Access.  Shank serves as CEO at Terrapin and can be contacted at jonathan@terrapinent.com.

Shank has a big heart for charity work, having produced and directed a series of charity concerts including  “A Celebration for Ray Manzarek,” “Celebrating 75 Years of Otis Redding” and  “The Bluegrass Situation Presents: A Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt.” Most recently, in January he brought together a dozen artists for the inaugural Homeward Bound benefit concert at Los Angeles’ Wiltern to raise awareness and funding for the area’s homeless community.

“The Homeward Bound concert was created out of the need to support the growing homeless community,” Shank

previously told Pollstar

. “I was largely inspired by many of the music centric benefits I have attended including The Bridge School, Love Rocks NYC, and the KROQ Acoustic Xmas combined with the vision of creating a sustainable fundraising event for the homeless to help get people off the streets. It seemed like a great way to raise awareness and funding and also bring great artists and the music industry together.”

The T.J. Martell Foundation is honoring Shank as this year’s recipient of the TJ Martel Trailblazer Award. He will be celebrated during the organization’s 11th annual Family Day, which will be held this fall as a virtual event, with the date to be announced. Proceeds from the event will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation’s mission to support innovative cancer research at flagship hospitals across the United States.
