What Does Pride Mean to You? | The Daily Rind

The term “pride” can take on a lot of forms. In June in the US, Pride is often used in reference to the LGBTQ+ liberation movement that is celebrated and honored through marches, events, discussions, and so much more. In the US, there are still hurdles to overcome towards greater acceptance and rights for those who identify as LGBTQ+. Throughout the world, there are still many countries that do have the freedom to be themselves and who they love, freely.

This year in particular with racial injustice especially within the Black Trans community, Pride is channeling its roots, protesting social justice. To encourage a socially distanced conversation and unify from afar, The Orchard asked our global staff to let us know what Pride means to them and how they express inclusivity whether that be at work or within their community.

Get to know our team below and consider, how do you celebrate, honor and embrace Pride not just in June but all year round?
