AIM takes Great Escape conference day online for virtual event | Music Ally

The UK’s The Great Escape conference and A&R cattle run was due to take place in Brighton on 13-16 May but that, obviously, has been cancelled.

UK indie trade body AIM is instead taking the planned running order for its AIM House day and putting it online as a virtual conference on 15 May. It has published an initial list of panels and sessions for the day, including: livestreaming for the long term; building on sudden online success; a workshop on touring and work visas in the aftermath of both COVID-19 and Brexit; releasing music sustainably; and market insights on Asia and Latin America.

Companies represented on the day include Brownswood Recordings, Full Time Hobby, Gigrev, Julie’s Bicycle, Key Production, Ninja Tune, The Floor and Viva la Visa.

AIM House at The Great Escape is free to attend and you can register here (AIM House) or here (Eventbrite).
