View-Tang Clan: Amazon Music makes Ol’ Dirty Bastard documentary | Music Ally

Wu-Tang Clan member Ol’ Dirty Bastard released his debut solo album ‘Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version’ on 28th March 1995. To mark its quarter-century anniversary Amazon has created the Unique: Return To The 36 Chambers 25 Years Later mini-documentary. It features previously unseen footage of the late rapper as well as interviews with key players in his life and musical career such as Wu-Tang Clan members RZA and Raekwon, ODB’s widow (Icelene Jones), his son (Barsun Unique Jones) and Wu-Tang’s business manager (Mitchell “Divine” Diggs).

Running 17 minutes, the documentary isn’t exclusive to Amazon Music itself though: the company has made it available on YouTube (or should that be WuTube?).

Label Rhino Records is also releasing an expanded version of Return To The 36 Chambers which runs to 43 tracks and includes a remastered version of the original album as well as rarities and previously unreleased tracks.
