OrchardGo: Data At Your Fingertips | The Daily Rind

OrchardGo: Data At Your Fingertips

By Meredith Nadeau December 16, 2019

The Orchard has made analytics more accessible than ever with our mobile app: OrchardGo! Yes that’s right, the top line streaming data that our labels crave can be found just a click away.

What Is OrchardGo?!

OrchardGo is an app created by The Orchard for our distributed artists and labels to help access their streaming information from their mobile device. Available on both iOS and Android, follow the trajectory of each release, see when your track is added to a new playlist, how your release is performing week over week and more.

Who Can Access?

Any label or artist with a login to The Orchard Workstation who has access to analytics can use that same login to access OrchardGo. Download the app, login, and see your results.

What Can I Learn?

OrchardGo reports a cohesive summary of the streaming data found in Workstation.

When opening the app, users are met with Top Tracks based upon streaming results across the past 7 days. The count and week over week change are displayed for each track.

Select a Track to see All Time Streams, Streaming Trends, a breakdown by services, Playlists, Source of Streams (Passive Active and Listener’s Collection) and Top Markets.

Toggle to Recent Playlists for a list of those which your content has been added to, with the most recent placements on top.

Select a Playlist to see when your track was added, the track position, total streams resulting from the playlist and total playlist followers.

If you’ve released a new product in the past week you can access that quickly as well under the Recent Products tab. Click the album to see full album streams, details for each track and swipe the album cover to the left to quickly access metadata like artist, UPC and release date.

How Can I Use This Information?

Understanding your performance, where your music is doing well and where you can grow is essential to supporting any release. Use positive trends as a signifier to expand upon your strategy and negative trends to reposition. See what playlists or countries your track is resonating and expand upon those results in your marketing and advertising strategy.
