Radial ES YouTube channel gets the Silver Creator Award

We’re in a celebration mood: Radial ES, one of The Orchard’s owned and operated channels, recently reached 100,000 subscribers!
The Radial ES YouTube channel was created in 2015 with the aim to increase value proposition for our labels in Spain. Back then, with YouTube starting to become the primary video platform for music-related content, our labels and artists were figuring out how to incorporate it into their release strategy. We saw the need of creating a YouTube channel to join forces, to gather all their content, share it with the world and grow all together.
Working together with our labels, we set up a content strategy for the channel. Along with cohesive brand identity, customized thumbnails, search optimization, cross-promotional tools, and the rest of YouTube’s best practices, we built the engaged audience that the channel has todays.
We also started developing our genre and mood curated playlists in which we feature our label’s releases giving them an extra exposure. Notable ones are Flamenquito, with more than 22M views, and Spanish Rap and Workout with nearly 10M and 7M views respectively, to mention a few.
It’s been a long journey, a lot of effort has been put into the channel — if you’re a YouTube creator you know what we’re talking about — so it’s great to see all this dedication being rewarded. And now… let’s go for the million subscribers!
