Music talent marketplace SoundBetter has launched a new licensing service for artists called Tracks.
Tracks’ catalog includes original, mainstream pop tracks from well-known producers and songwriters.
The agreements are designed so that labels and artists can find tracks, write and record a topline and then release the song commercially.
SoundBetter lists mixing and mastering engineers, singers, songwriters, producers and studio musicians for hire.
The platform was founded by Shachar Gilad and Itamar Yunger and has delivered over $18 million to the musicians on the platform so far.
“We’re making song production accessible much like music libraries made music-for-video easily accessible to video-makers – via a curated online shop instead of all custom commissioned work.”

SoundBetter CEO Shachar Gilad said: “Tens of thousands of songs are distributed every single day. SoundBetter has already increased accessibility to industry producers, singers and songwriters.
“Now we want to make the process of getting a production and topline even more accessible, enabling artists and managers everywhere to audition great pre-made original tracks beyond those that happened to be sent to them by their immediate network.
