Ad Age and Adlatina salute Women to Watch in Buenos Aires, Argentina | Advertising Age

The fifth annual Women to Watch Argentina lunch event took place this week at the Four Seasons, Buenos Aires, celebrating 16 outstanding marketing, advertising and communications professionals.

Organized jointly by Ad Age and Adlatina, the host was once again the journalist Cristina Pérez, who emphasized that “Women to Watch is a distinction that never goes off and continues to mark us throughout these five years.”

Adlatina Executive Director Belén Martínez Cima highlighted the successful growth of the program—to date, 63 women in Argentina and another 60 in Mexico have been distinguished—before handing over to Adlatina Founder and CEO Jorge Raúl Martínez Moschini, who noted that the 16 women “are going to come up the stage to tell us their dreams and reality, to thrill us. As Eduardo Galeano said, ‘life is a blend of stories’. This is what we are going to celebrate today”.

Evelin Thesing, brand advertising, communications and interactive manager at American Express—and a 2018 honoree herself—welcomed the 16 women to a community that has been generating frequent reunions and which, according to Thesing, should be even larger.

Gabriel Oliveri, marketing director, Four Seasons, expressed his gratitude at hosting the event, proudly pointing out that 85% of his marketing team is female.

The event was sponsored by Geometry Global, Latcom, L’Oréal, Momentum, Quiroga Medios, Santander Río, Turner and Viacom.
