SoundCloud has launched a discounted SoundCloud Go+ service for full-time students.
Eligible college and university students can get access to SoundCloud’s premium listening subscription for $4.99/€4.99 per month instead of the standard $9.99/€9.99 a month price tag.
The SoundCloud Go+ for Students subscription will provide access to SoundCloud’s full catalog of over 200 million tracks, ad-free listening, track downloads for offline listening and high quality audio streaming.
SoundCloud Go+ for Students rolls out in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada today (March 5), and will be live in Germany, France and the Netherlands next week.
SoundCloud became a distributor last month after it launched a tool in open beta for users to upload music to Spotify, Apple Music etc.Music Business Worldwide
