Sony/ATV boosts Business & Legal Affairs team with new promotions and appointments | Music Business Worldwide


Sony/ATV Music Publishing has announced a series of promotions and appointments within its Business & Legal Affairs Department in New York.

Nicole Giacco, Ryan Raichilson and Melissa Yermes have been promoted to SVP, Business & Legal Affairs, Director, Business & Legal Affairs and Associate Director respectively

Giacco joined Sony/ATV in 2008 as a Senior Director and during her time at the company has worked on a broad scope of business matters, including becoming the point person for all of the company’s US Latin deal making.

Prior to joining Sony/ATV, she was an associate at the New York-based law firm Serling Rooks & Ferrara and before that held a business affairs position at V2 Records.

Meanwhile, Ryan Raichilson has been promoted to Director, Business & Legal Affairs, having joined Sony/ATV in 2007.

After passing the bar exam in 2015, he joined the Business & Legal Affairs department as an attorney.

Melissa Yermes joins the Department as Associate Director following three-and-a-half years at Sony Music Entertainment in New York where most recently she served in the role of Manager, Business Affairs, Commercial Music Group.

All three report to Sony/ATV EVP, Business & Legal Affairs Peter Brodsky.

Also joining the Department is Molly O’Neill as a Coordinator, who reports to SVP, Business & Legal Affairs Michael Abitbol and VP, Business & Legal Affairs Dag Sandsmark.
