Royalty collection platform Songtrust has appointed Anna Bond as Director of Business Development, North America.
Bond has spent fifteen years in the music industry, and is the former US Rough Trade Records General Manager.
Her remit in the new role will be to to grow partnerships with independent businesses and artist representatives.
Bond’s career spans artist management, label management at FatCat Records and Rough Trade US, and has worked with artists such as Warpaint, Parquet Courts, and the Twilight Sad, as well as independent distributor Secretly Canadian, digital music service eMusic.
In 2018, Songtrust doubled its client base, opened three new offices and added more than 50 people to the team.
