Veteran label exec Jacqueline Saturn has been promoted to the position of President at Caroline, the independent distribution and label services arm of Capitol Music Group. Saturn will lead Caroline’s 50 person US team and oversee operations, including artist and label signings, partnerships, and coordination with Caroline’s international operations.
She will also continue in her current role of leading Capitol’s Harvest Records label. She will be based out of Capitol’s Los Angeles headquarters and will report to CMG Chief Operating Officer Michelle Jubelirer.
Under Saturn’s leadership, Caroline has doubled its U.S. market share in the last twelve months and launched three #1 Billboard Top 200 debuts with rapper NF (Perception), rap trio Migos (Culture II) and the late rapper XXXTentacion (?). Caroline has also scored four Top 5 Billboard Top 200 debuts from rap duo Huncho Jack (Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho) and rappers 6ix9ine (Day69), Lil Baby (Harder Than Ever) and Trippie Redd (Life’s A Trip).
“I am so proud of all we have accomplished at Caroline over the past year. In my expanded role, I will continue to lead this bright and ambitious team that I work with every day to even greater success. I am honored to walk into this iconic building every day and work to achieve what we envisioned for Caroline when I became GM several years ago. We are lucky to work with the most dedicated and dynamic label partners and artists in the business, and I am inspired by them daily. I thank Michelle and Steve for believing in me and helping Caroline to reach its goals that we have set together.”
