Music Business Worldwide launches World’s Greatest Agents series in partnership with Centtrip Music | Music Business Worldwide

There’s a special new series coming to Music Business Worldwide – and it’s going to be a corker.

From this week, MBW will be hosting regular in-depth interviews with the best booking agents on the planet – discussing their role in a changing industry, their past experiences and their hopes for the future of the business.

This series, World’s Greatest Agents, will feature the most powerful decision-makers in the field.

It is supported – by which, we mean it is able to exist – thanks to financial technology company Centtrip Music, which regularly works with the live music sector to maximise returns from artist touring around the globe.

Tony North, CEO of Centtrip Music, said: “Agents are key to shaping not only individual talents but also the wider music industry. They develop an artist’s career and help them realise their potential.

“The new MBW series is brilliant and the line-up for interviews is top-notch.”

World’s Greatest Agents will kick off on Thursday this week (July 12) via an exclusive chat with one of the most respected executives working in live music and talent representation, Tom Windish.

“Agents are key to shaping not only individual talents but also the wider music industry. They develop an artist’s career and help them realise their potential.”

Well known for helping build the careers of artists to sell-out arena and stadium success, Windish is the founder of The Windish Agency and has worked with acts including Lorde, The XX and Alt-J.

In 2015, Windish joined forces with fast-growing global agency Paradigm, taking his roster in-house at the fast-growing company.

World’s Greatest Agents join MBW’s other supported interview series, including World’s Greatest Managers (also backed by Centtrip Music), Inspiring Women (backed by Ingrooves), the MBW Review (backed by Instrumental) and World’s Greatest Songwriters (backed by AWAL).

London-based Centtrip Music is fast becoming the first port of call for artists and their representatives – as well as the wider music industry – when it comes to international payments, foreign exchange and expenditure.

Today Centtrip works with more than 300 international artists, who use its products and services to make the most of their earnings.Music Business Worldwide
