Reservoir has signed electronic outfit DVBBS to a worldwide publishing deal.
The deal includes global rights to compositions in DVBBS’ catalogue, plus future works, including the new album Blood Of My Blood.
“We are thrilled to start this new partnership with Reservoir,” said DVBBS.
“From the very first meeting we had together, everyone was on the same page, sharing the same vision for our catalogue and the future of DVBBS. We’re looking forward to working together and expanding opportunities as songwriters, producers, and artists across the globe.”
Brothers Christopher and Alexandre van den Hoef (pictured) formed DVBBS in 2012.
Recently, the pair collaborated with DJ Steve Aoki and fellow Reservoir roster-mate 2 Chainz on Without U – the lead single off of Aoki’s album, Kolony, which debuted in the top 5 on Billboard’s Dance Chart this Summer.
“Chris and Alex are incredibly versatile songwriters and producers who have carved out their own lane that transcends EDM.”
The Ontario-born duo have released several collaborations including Gold Skies with Sander van Doorn and Martin Garrix, and the Juno-nominated Tsunami with Borgeous.
DVBBS’ single Not Going Home with CMC$ was a top 20 hit on Billboard’s US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, and the pair’s first Top 10 single at Top 40 Radio in Canada.
DVBBS have appeared as both performers and DJs at Ultra, Tommorrowland, TomorrowWorld, and EDC Las Vegas music festivals, in addition to holding a residency at Las Vegas hotspot Hakkasan.
“I’m thrilled to welcome DVBBS to the Reservoir family,” said Spek – Reservoir’s SVP of Creative and A&R. “Chris and Alex are incredibly versatile songwriters and producers who have carved out their own lane that transcends EDM. We look forward to bigger things ahead in their future and can’t wait to get to work.”Music Business Worldwide
