Global movie and music company Entertainment One (eOne) has inked a new deal with Latin entertainment firm La Commission to create a new Latin music label.
Focused on live music concerts in multiple genres across the United States, La Commission was founded by its CEO, Artie Pabon, a music industry pioneer in the Latin music market with over 20 years of experience.
The new JV deal was led by Pabon and Alan Grunblatt, eOne’s President of Rock & Urban, with seasoned industry vet Jerry Blair acting as the Chief Liaison officer between the two companies.
The first signing under the deal is Latin trap star Bryant Myers (pictured), who has more than 113m plays on Spotify, 2.3m Instagram followers, and 1m YouTube subscribers.
Myers’ ‘Pa Pasar El Rato’ is the first release on the JV and is out now.
Grunblatt says, “As we focus on taking our music business to the next level, partnering with Jerry and Artie is very exciting. Our goal will be to make the partnership between La Commission and eOne the top independent Latin entertainment destination in the country, encompassing music, TV, and film.
“Bryant Myers is a superstar in the making!”

Pabon added, “It is no longer a secret that Latin music is a global language and key alliances like this one are necessary for expansion. Bryant Myers will make history.”
Blair commented, “With the monumental shift that’s occurring in the music business, this is the best time to be partnering with eOne. It’s the disruptive, artist-focused music company for today and the future. It operates like a speed boat, not a barge.
“eOne’s management team has assembled a ‘what’s next is now’ prototype that all future music companies will follow. Artie Pabon and La Commission promote over 200 concert dates a year. They know what’s new and trending better than anyone I know in the market.
“They now have Bryant Myers positioned to become an International superstar. With Artie, GM David LaPointe, my Global Entertainment Management team of Tony Cammarota and Ryan Fionda in NYC and Garrett Schaefer in Miami, and La Commission partner Javish Casillas in Puerto Rico, we look forward to being the place where artists will be nurtured, and will thrive.”
