Apple Music secures exclusive rights to Sean “Diddy” Combs documentary | Music Business Worldwide

Apple Music has secured the exclusive online streaming rights to Sean “Diddy” Combs documentary Can’t Stop Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story.

The film will be available to watch on Apple Music from June 25th following a world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

It tells the story of Combs founding hip hop label Bad Boy Records in ’93, the label’s 20th anniversary celebration and Reunion Tour last year.

It explores the passion and personalities behind the label, and goes inside the ups and downs in the making of a movement and staging of the two day gig at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn.

The film was produced by Combs and Live Nation Productions President of Production for Film and Television Heather Parry, alongside executive producers Michael Rapino, CEO and President, Live Nation Entertainment, Andre Harrell and Alex Avant.

Said Parry: “To have Live Nation Productions work with Bad Boy is such an incredible partnership.

“I first met Puff when I worked at MTV over a decade ago and here we are years later producing a film together, which is beyond creatively satisfying.”
