Rapper Common has partnered with fitness-tech firm Peloton, becoming the latest musician to be featured in its ‘Artist Series’ of workout soundtracks.
He’s following in the footsteps of Lil Wayne, Billie Eilish, Britney Spears and other artists in that regard, but his partnership also ties in with Peloton’s charitable ‘Pelothon‘ fundraising campaign, which is trying to raise $1m for hunger relief over four weeks.
The company has created six teams and divided its workout instructors between them, supporting charities across the US, UK, Canada and Germany.
Common will be joining team #NoLimitLegion, and will in theory be biking, treadmilling and/or yogaing (is that a verb?) his way through the challenge alongside Peloton users. Meanwhile, his Artist Series classes will be available from today (29 July).
