Anders Lindberg named Marketing Director of Warner Music Nordics | Music Business Worldwide


Anders Lindberg has been appointed Marketing Director of Warner Music Nordics.

Based in Stockholm, Lindberg reports to Mark Fry, Vice President, Warner Music Nordics.

Lindberg joins Warner from Sony Music Entertainment, where, based in Berlin he worked as Vice President, International Marketing, Continental Europe and Africa.

While there, he led the regional team and collaborated with marketing teams in over 15 countries, supporting campaigns for artists including Alan Walker, ALMA, James Arthur, Martin Garrix and Nea.

He began his music industry career in 2002 at Warner Music’s Promotion department, during his six years at the company he worked his way from Assistant to Marketing Manager, supporting campaigns from local and international artists, including James Blunt, Laleh, Måns Zelmerlöw, Michael Bublé, Missy Elliott, Muse and Paramore.

A move to Sony Music Sweden followed in 2008, where Lindberg became International Label Manager and, later, Head of International.

In 2013, he joined Universal Music Sweden as Head of International. While there, he restructured and grew the International department, driving innovative collaborations and partnerships for a diverse roster of artists including Ariana Grande, Drake, Halsey, Rihanna, Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd.

He also led the Nordic Export team’s efforts in promoting Nordics acts, such as Astrid S, Avicii, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, NOTD, Seeb and Tove Lo worldwide.

He returned to Sony Music in 2018, moving to Berlin to take up the role of VP, International Marketing, Continental Europe and Africa.

In that role, he and his team supported Sony offices across the region with expertise in campaign strategy, marketing tactics and creative input to help break talent globally.
