Victoria Needs joins AWAL as VP of International Marketing | Music Business Worldwide


Kobalt’s recording company AWAL has hired Victoria Needs as Vice President of International marketing.

Most recently, as the Director of UK International at Sony, Needs was responsible for the international strategies for artists signed to RCA UK, Ministry of Sound, Black Butter and Syco Music.

Based in the UK, Needs will lead AWAL’s international marketing team, driving releases and campaigns through the company’s global structure,
which sees its international, UK and North America marketing teams working together.

Needs will also work closely with marketing leads in each of AWAL’s offices around the world.

Needs is an International Marketing executive with 19 years of experience in her field.

She has spent her career working with major labels such as Warner Music, EMI Music, and Sony Music, as well as on campaigns for major artists such as Calvin Harris, Mark Ronson, Little Mix, and more.

“By adding Victoria and her wealth of experience in developing and breaking artists around the world, it will help drive our international marketing team and campaigns to the next level.”
