Save the Date: April 16, UGA Artist Rights Symposium II Music in the Time of the Virus | MUSIC • TECHNOLOGY • POLICY

The second Artist Rights Symposium is back at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia at Athens.  Instead of a two-day in person event, the Symposium is going to be one topic a week for April and may extend into May and June.  The panels will be recorded and videos posted.  Videos of the first two panels on “Kafka Meets the Accountants:  Metadata, Licensing and Money” and “That Thing You Do: A Fair Use Update” are already posted.

April 16 at 12:30 ET is the next panel entitled Music in the Time of the Virus: Performers, Agents, Venues, and Promoter Perspective with Jerry Lima (Madison House), Julie Watson (Producer, Live from Cain’s Ballroom radio), Zvi Rosen (Small Business Administration) and Dr. David Lowery, moderator Chris Castle. Check the deets and watch videos of prior panels at the Symposium webpage.
