Record Store Day is now Record Store Days with three new dates | Music Ally

Record Store Day was postponed from 18 April to 20 June, but in the face of the continuing Covid-19 crisis, it has now been postponed again, and also reformatted.

The event will now take place across three different Saturdays later in the year: 29 August, 26 September and 24 October, with an updated list of what releases will be sold on which days will be published on 1 June.

“This current RSD 2020 plan to spread the spotlight and the support over three months, was made with as much available information as possible, and gives the largest number of stores a chance to participate globally in the strangest Record Store Day ever,” said organisers. “RSD will be using the guidance of government and scientific experts to ensure these RSD Drop dates are as socially responsible and safe for all involved as possible.”
