Universal Music Group’s latest partnership is with Lego. Announced this morning, it’ll see the pair teaming up for “the development of a new suite of Lego products launching in 2021, created to encourage and inspire the next generation of musicians, creatives and fans”.
Details of what those products will be have not been announced yet: instead, the announcement waxed lyrical on “exciting opportunities for children to connect and creatively express themselves, and their love of music” and “harnessing immersive, interactive play and safe social experiences”. The full details will be announced “later this year” according to the two companies. We predict some, ahem, block rocking beats.
