Video service Quibi to launch a show focusing on music | Music Ally

We’ve written about Quibi a few times: the company formerly known as NewTV was founded by Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg and tech veteran Meg Whitman, and is launching a subscription-based app with original TV shows split into bitesize episodes. It’s also raised a ton of money – $1.75bn so far, with its service about to launch.

Now there’s news that one of its original shows will focus on music. ‘&Music’ will launch on 6 April alongside Quibi itself, promising to go “beyond the songs and even the musicians” by focusing in on the people behind the scenes who collaborate with major acts to help them realise their vision – from songwriters and audio engineers to choreographers and lighting designers”.

According to the show’s teaser on YouTube, Ariana Grande, Anderson .Paak, Ozzy Osbourne, J Balvin, Martin Garrix and YG will be among the artists featured, with Scooter Braun on board as an executive producer.
