Dutch rapper Dopebwoy teams with Warner Music to form Forever Lit Records | Music Business Worldwide


Dutch rapper and producer Dopebwoy is partnering with Warner Music to establish his own label Forever Lit Records.

The label’s name is a reference to his album Forever Lit, which reached No.1 in the official Dutch charts.

Dopebwoy has enjoyed success with his hits Cartier and Loco (featuring Yung Felix), and the majority of his live shows take place outside the Netherlands.

He has also recorded tracks with artists including the UK’s Yxng Bane, France’s Aya Nakamura, MHD, Abou Debeing, DJ Skorp & Alrima; as well as Germany’s Mert and Majoe.

His music is also a hit on TikTok. Cartier has been used in several challenges such as #gettoknowme, #cartierchallenge, #cartier, causing his song to be used more than 500 million times within the app.

Dopebwoy will initially release his own music on the label, but will also sign and work with new artists.
