Universal Music Group has developed an analytics app for its artists and their managers to monitor everything from streaming activity to social performance.

Artists and their managers can use the app to view personalized, global data insights from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and YouTube (Data from Deezer will be included in 2020).

The Universal Music Artists (UMA) app can be downloaded from Apple’s AppStore and the Google Play Store, starting today (November 21).

Artists and managers will receive login credentials upon request from their label representative. After first login, users can choose to use facial recognition, depending on the device.

The app will send real-time alerts every time a song is added to a top global playlist and will update every 30 minutes

They will additionally be able to track social engagement across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Universal Music’s volume of data across multiple platforms provides unparalleled, global, market-wide context and insights in a simple-to-use app.

Artists and managers will receive login credentials upon request from their label representative. After first login, users can choose to use facial recognition, depending on the device.

UMA’s Available features include an Artist Dashboard that displays Total audience, Total streams, Spotlight Songs activity, Spotlight Videos performance and Insights highlighting significant changes.
