Pinkfong – Pinkfong Presents: The Best Of Baby Shark, Pt. 2 (Pinkfong/ Relentless)

There’s one contagious earworm the world can’t seem to get out of their heads…you know it…”Baby…SHARK!” Yes, the creators of Baby Shark, Pinkfong have returned (as if they ever left). Whether you have kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, or are just a human on planet earth, you’ve probably heard the children’s song that has kids of all ages singing-along. The geniuses at Pinkfong are keeping the sharky fun going with Pinkfong Presents: The Best Of Baby Shark, Pt. 2. The new album includes brand new music as well as a “Baby Shark Remix” and “Baby Shark Trick-or-Treat,” which was released this past Halloween. Not only is the music catchy but the whole experience is engaging with bright visuals, sing-a-longs and dance-alongs capturing the attention of their youthful audience (no easy feat). The US live tour has been incredibly successful attracting families all over the country and is expected to pick back up this spring. More big news — Nickelodeon has also announced a series of Baby Shark shorts, watch the trailer here and keep an eye out for more of Pinkfong’s infamous videos. So get ready to dance and sing and be the coolest adult ever, by introducing the new album to your family and friends.

Noah Slee – TWICE EP (HAVELU Records)

New Zealand born soul singer and producer, Noah Slee, now based in Berlin, just dropped his new EP Twice via HAVELU Records. You’re definitely going to want to take a listen to this. Slee’s blend of traditional soulful vocals along with his R&B touch makes for a very special listening experience. Slee’s sound comes from a mix of his native roots and language, Tonga. As mentioned by NPR, Slee got his start performing on Polynesian floor shows alongside his eight siblings. The quality of his voice enwrapped with the meaningful lyrics make it hard for any listener not to fall in love with Slee’s sound.

Take a listen to Slee’s Twice EP and allow yourself to dive into his sweet Polynesian soulful sound.

Girl Ray – Girl (Moshi Moshi records)

The three-person London band, Girl Ray, came together out of their love for pop music, and hatred for Hollister clothing. Years later, they’re releasing their second album titled, Girl  (Moshi Moshi Records). The powerful pop trio have constantly been inspired by artists such as Ariana Grande and Rihanna, and that definitely shows in this new album. Girl will features their recent single “Show Me More,” that the Brooklyn Vegan described as having, “a breezy vibe.” The band say it’s about “crushing really hard but having to play the long game and wait it out because your boo is playing savage games.”

Whether you’re crushing hard or simply having fun, Girl is sure to provide some relatable content for your listening pleasure in their EP.
