Starwatch Entertainment & Tigerspring partner with Believe on new ‘super-indie’ label, Lobster | Music Business Worldwide


Denmark-based Starwatch Entertainment, Germany-based Tigerspring and Paris-based Believe have announced the launch a new ‘super-indie’ record label called Lobster.

Starwatch, a leading German music label and entertainment house, and Tigerspring, a Danish independent label and publisher, chose Believe for distribution and artist services for this new venture.

Tigerspring is one of the leading music publishers in Scandinavia.

The Copenhagen based boutique publisher with offices in both UK and US, has recently delivered songs for major artists such as The Chainsmokers, Jonas Brothers, Steve Aoki, John Newman, Liam Payne and more, while previous cuts include several No.1 hits in US and Asia.

Tigerspring also focus on sync and has secured campaigns with companies such as Apple, Ford, HBO, Google, Netflix, Adidas and a long list of film and TV placements.

Starwatch Entertainment is the business unit for music, live entertainment, brand partnerships and artist management within the Germany-based ProSiebenSat.1 group.

The new label is founded by Sam Bittner, Director of Music & Live Entertainment at Starwatch, and Søren Winding, Managing Director of Tigerspring.

Lobster has already signed Danish pop star Mads Langer, US artists Jackson Penn and Patrick Martin, and UK artist Jack Curley, whose first single Alice entered the Spotify Viral 50 charts in the US, Canada, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
