Warner Chappell Music Nashville signs global publishing deal with Mickey Guyton | Music Business Worldwide

Warner Chappell Music Nashville has signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Capitol Records Nashville recording artist, Mickey Guyton.

In 2016, Guyton was nominated for the Academy of Country Music Award for New Female Vocalist, and at this year’s show, performed I’m Standing With You, from the Breakthrough soundtrack, alongside Chrissy Metz, Carrie Underwood, Lauren Alaina and Maddie & Tae.

Guyton has landed three singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, including her cover of Do You Want to Build a Snowman? from Disney’s Frozen, and Better Than You Left Me, which also made Country Aircheck history as the highest one-week add total for a debut single.

“Mickey’s authenticity and honesty comes through in her powerful songwriting, and really resonates.”
