Rodrigo Domingues named Managing Director of peermusic Portugal | Music Business Worldwide


Rodrigo Domingues (pictured) has been promoted to Managing Director of peermusic Portugal.

Domingues is based in Lisbon and Madrid and reports to peermusic’s Latin Regional President, Rafa Aguilar.

Domingues joined peermusic Portugal in 2001 as a creative consultant with a background in label distribution.

He launched his career in publishing by signing local composers and projects including Theo Pascal, Carmen de Souza, Mafalda Arnauth and Lucia Moniz.

He subsequently oversaw peermusic’s acquisition of one of the most important Fado catalogs in Portugal, the works of Paulo de Carvalho.

In recent years he has been developing the Portuguese No.1 writer, producer and artist Agir.

In addition to his creative work, he was much involved in the creation of PMPA, the music publishers association in Portugal, of which he currently holds the Vice Presidency.

He serves as one of the two publishers on the board of the local Society, SPA.

On the International front he also holds the title of Creative & Sync Manager for Iberia & Latin America coordinating these activities for peermusic’s substantial network of operations in those territories.
