Vancouver-based music promotion and distribution platform Play MPE has hired Faina Shpund as Director of Product Management.
Shpund will lead product initiatives to provide new solutions to Play MPE’s network.
Shpund joins Play MPE from Potent Systems, where she led the team to develop iOS apps.
She brings years of project management experience to the position from notable companies such as Electronic Arts.
Play MPE has delivered over 871 million releases to more than 152,000 members worldwide.
In March Nielsen launched a new feature in its BDSradio product that allows radio stations and programmers to access broadcast quality audio files from Play MPE.
