Tool signs Emilie Baltz, Tatjana Green joins ArtClass | Advertising Age

Tool of North America has added Emilie Baltz to its Innovation roster. As an experiential director, food technologist and multimedia artist, Baltz has concepted and created installations such as "Lickestra," the world’s first lickable ice cream orchestra performance, non-traditional tasting events such as "Color Feast" and a multi-sensory experience for Lexus titled "intersect." Based in New York City, she  is part of the New Lab for emerging technologies and human behavior, as well as a founding member of New Inc, the first museum-led incubator hosted at the New Museum.

ArtClass has signed advertising creative-turned-filmmaker Tatjana Green to its roster. Green landed her first job at 18 as a graphic designer for art house Butter and spent the next eight years working for  European ad agencies including Sillmotion, Red Box Inc., Saatchi & Saatchi Düsseldorf and Tenzing, before branching out on her own in 2010, establishing the creative studio Brought To You By. She has directed a range of commercials, shorts, series and music videos  for brands including P&G, Absolut, Toyota, Tassimo, US Foods, The Economist, Warner, Walmart and others.

Patrick Sisam has joined Saville Productions for his first U.S. commercial and branded entertainment representation. Sisam has helmed commercials for brands including BMW, Toyota, Nike, Quaker, The Body Shop, Telus and others. He has also worked on TV and digital series, feature films and short films for the likes of HBO, Amazon Prime Video and the BBC. His feature film “The Year of Getting to Know Us,” starring Sharon Stone, Lucy Liu and Jimmy Fallon premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Directing duo Freise Bros has joined Contagious for exclusive U.S. spot and branded long-form representation. Known for work such as the short Tesla Motors film “Not A Dream,” twin brothers Adam and Nathan Freise have previously been honored with the YDA (Young Director Award) at Cannes. Their previous representation includes RSA Films and Biscuit Filmworks. The duo recently completed their first Contagious assignment, “Dear Sports,” for Adidas Golf, via Vitro.

 

Editor Paul Norling has joined the roster at post production shop Stitch. Norling was a partner at FilmCore before leaving to co-found Beast Editorial in 2005. He left Beast in 2017 and launched his own studio, Metro Pictures Editorial. His editing work includes Jonathan Glazer’s  “Frozen Moments” Brand Jordan ad, in which time seems to stand still as people are glued to their TVs watching Michael Jordan drive to the net.

 

Quad group, the French production company, has opened In Finé, a new division oriented towards the luxury sector, headed by Johanna Marciano, a specialist in branding and visual communication for luxury products with over two decades of executive producing in New York for brands such as L’Oréal, Garnier, Tiffany’s and Revlon. In Finé already represents nine directors, including Elisa Valenzuela, Animal, Alexandre Piriou, Julien Fanton D’Andon and the Cokaus.

Whitehouse Post has added editor Adam Rudd to its London roster. He has spent the past decade working in London and Los Angeles at Final Cut. His work includes ads for Gillette with director Michel Gondry, Sainsbury’s “Food Dancing” directed by Siri Bunford for Wieden & Kennedy and “Last Can Standing” directed by Daniel Kleinman for Pepsi Max featuring Messi and Mo Salah for AMV/BBDO.   

NYC-based creative studio Nice Shoes has expanded its Midwest presence, opening its first stand-alone space in Chicago’s River North district. The studio will be led by Senior Colorist Ron Sudul and Color Assistant Alex Frankland, and will be supported by Executive Producer Tara Holmes and Producer Serena Bove, who will be splitting their time between NYC and Chicago studios.
