Concord Music Publishing has signed a deal with songwriter, producer, A&R executive and Grammy-winning recording engineer/mixer, Noah Goldstein (pictured), to represent his full catalog and future works.
Highlights from Goldstein include hits like Kanye West’s New Slaves, Black Skinhead, and Ultralight Beam.
Concord and Goldstein have also partnered on a joint venture to sign developing and established artists and writers.
The first signing to the JV is Minneapolis based songwriter/producer, Simon Christensen pka Psymun, a former member of the group The Stand4rd.
Goldstein began his career in New York City at the iconic Electric Lady Studios, helping to engineer records for artists like M.I.A., Nas, Mos Def, Rihanna, and many others. He later worked with Arcade Fire to record The Suburbs, which went on to win Album of the Year at the 2011 Grammy Awards.
His contribution generated the attention of Kanye West, and for eight years served as a producer, A&R, engineer and touring audio director for West and his label G.O.O.D. Music.
Goldstein was also appointed Senior Vice President of A&R for Columbia Records – one of the first major moves from Ron Perry, who took over as Chairman and CEO of Columbia in January 2018.
“We are so excited to have Noah join our roster. He has proven himself to be a creative force in the industry, as a writer, producer, engineer and A&R.”
