Scottish composer and original Nightcrawlers band member Ross Campbell has sold his publishing catalog to Netherlands-based independent publisher CTM Publishing BVM.
The most significant song in this catalog is Push The Feeling On, released in 1992 by the Nightcrawlers.
The song became a Top 10 hit in nearly all countries of the world peaking at No.3 in the UK, No.7 in France and No.6 in Germany.
The song was also recorded by Pitbull, retitled: Hotel Room Service’ and again reached Top 10 chart positions in many countries worldwide in 2009, now also reaching a high chart position in the US, at No.8.
New versions of this great song by some very well-known artists are due to be released later this year again.
According to André de Raaff, CEO of CTM, Push The Feeling On Is under-exploited sync-wise, which is why CTM will especially focus on that area in the short term.
De Raaff founded independent publisher Imagem, which he sold to Concord for more than $500m in 2017.
In December 2018 CTM signed four new deals in the UK through CTM’s partnership with prolific UK music publisher Steve Lewis.
