Pandora Premium can now be streamed through Amazon Echo devices | Music Business Worldwide

Pandora can now be streamed through all of Amazon’s smart devices, including Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Show.

The music streaming company published a blog post today (November 19) announcing the news, ‘just in time for the holidays’.

Pandora is also available on Echo Amazon rivals – Facebook’s Portal and Portal+  smart devices, which were released in October with Pandora as a launch partner.

Ad-supported, Plus and Premium Pandora users can stream music via Facebook’s devices.

Only Premium users will be able to use Amazon’s devices however, with no additional information about whether or not the integration will be extended to plus and ad-tier users at a later stage.

“Here at Pandora, we know how much the music you love can enhance everyday moments and make the time you spend at home more memorable and enjoyable,” said the firm in a blog post.

“That’s why we’re introducing Pandora Premium to Amazon’s whole lineup of Alexa-powered devices including Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Show, just in time for the holidays.”
