MBW can reveal that Spotify UK has hired Christie Driver-Snell to drive forward its dance music strategy in the region.
Driver-Snell was formerly Head of Programming at Rinse FM.
The exec, who we understand has started at Spotify this week, takes up a newly-created position: Editor for Dance Music (UK).
She will report to Austin Daboh, Spotify’s Head of Shows and Editorial in the UK.
Driver-Snell worked at Rinse FM owner, London-based Rinse Group, for over three years.
A Spotify spokesperson confirmed the details in this story, but declined to comment further.Music Business Worldwide
