YouTube Music Charts This Week: Eminem, Kanye Break Records, Mac Miller Dominates | hypebot

Youtube_logoThis weeks YouTube Music Chart saw  Eminem, Kanye and Lil Pump break 24-hour records, Mac Miller’s songs cover the charts, and Coldplay, Shakira, Zayn and MC Fiota pass one billion music video views.

 

YouTube Music Fast Facts:

  • Eminem - Killshot garnered a staggering 38.1 million views in its first 24 hours, making it the biggest hip hop debut and third biggest overall debut in YouTube history. The video currently tops the US Trending chart.
  • Kanye West and Lil Pump both broke their all-time 24-hour view records with the debut of “I Love It.” The music video garnered 13.9M views in its first 24 hours and debuted at #1 on both the Global Top Songs andUS Top Songs charts.
  • Late rapper Mac Miller appears five times on this week’s US Top Songs chart: “Self Care” (#16), “Best Day Ever” (#25), “Hurt Feelings” (#46), “Donald Trump” (#52), and “The Way” (#76). He’s #2 on the US Top Artists chart and #28 on the Global Top Artists chart.
  • Just two weeks after their music video for “Hymn for the Weekend” hit 1B views, Coldplay’s “Paradise” has hit the milestone. The band is currently #55 on the Global Top Artists Chart.
  • Shakira’s “La La La” which was the 2014 FIFA World Cup anthem, has also joined the Billion Views Club. She is now tied with Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj as the women with the most music videos (as a lead or featured artists) to reach the milestone, with four each. Shakira is currently #34 on the Global Top Artists Chart.
  • Rounding off new Billion Views Club entries, MC Fiota “Bum Bum Tam Tam” this week became the first video from Brazilian to reach one billion views while Zayn’s Dusk Till Dawn” ft. Sia made him the first One Direction member to reach the milestone.
