Caroline inks global distribution deal with social networking platform VFILES | Music Business Worldwide

Caroline has inked a worldwide distribution deal with global youth social networking platform VFILES.

The agreement will see Caroline, which is owned by Universal/Capitol Music Group, release music from artists who are active within the VFILES community.

The VFILES platform is said to “bring together young and emerging creatives with the world’s most established influencers in pop-culture”.

To launch the Caroline partnership, VFILES has scheduled a weekly release of six singles from female performers through October 12, 2018.

Brooklyn-born Alex Mali (pictured) has just kicked-off the campaign with her track, 99 Bottles.

Jacqueline Saturn, President of Caroline said, “When Matt and I met Julie Anne [Quay], we had immediate chemistry and a belief that we could help each other build something special. VFILES, and what it represents in both fashion and popular culture, is exciting to all of us.

“On behalf of the entire Caroline team we welcome Julie Anne and VFILES to the family.”
