WMA opens Melbourne office to be headed by Jess Mills | Music Business Worldwide


Digital agency WMA has opened an office in Melbourne while will be headed by Jess Mills.

Mills moves over to Australia from WMA LA where she was Head of Social for the pacific region.

The new office is WMA’s fifth location, joining presence in London, New York, LA and Nashville.

Mills began her career in 2011 at Los Angeles-based agency Acento Digital Media.

While there, she oversaw social campaigns for artists and entertainment brands such as Pitbull’s Voli Light Vodka and Lil Wayne’s TRUKFIT.

Following that, she led social strategy at Global Entertainment’s LA-based management/label division, developing digital and social campaigns for artists across US and UK rosters, including Nathan Sykes and Lawson.

Mills joined WMA in 2016 to launch its LA social department, overseeing social campaigns for a variety of artists across the Interscope and Hollywood Records’ rosters.
