Peermusic hires Goetz von Einem as MD GSA & SVP Digital and European Legal Affairs | Music Business Worldwide


Peermusic has appointed Goetz von Einem to Managing Director GSA & Senior Vice President Digital and European Legal Affairs.

Von Einem joins from BMG where he was SVP Business & Legal Affairs, International Publishing.

In his previous role, he built and headed the worldwide business and legal affairs department, with a particular focus on the German team.

At peermusic he will lead operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and form part of the international digital licensing team.

Based in Hamburg, von Einem reports to peermusic’s European President Nigel Elderton.

He will also advise peermusic’s European affiliates in business affairs matters including copyright, media policy and relationships with collecting societies.

Prior to BMG, von Einem worked as a lawyer for international law firm Noerr in its Berlin copyright and media law department.
