Jens-Markus Wegener is leaving Imagem five years after being named the publisher’s MD in Germany.
Imagem was taken over by Concord Music in a $500m+ deal last year.
Concord has since re-organized its publishing operation by consolidating The Bicycle Music Company, Imagem Music, and Razor & Tie Publishing into a single popular song group
The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization and Boosey & Hawkes – which were also brought across as part of Imagem – are run separately.
Jens-Markus Wegener, who has led Imagem in Germany since 2013, said: “I spent a wonderful time at Imagem and are very proud that we managed to establish the company in the Top 7 German music publishers.
“With the help of my fantastic team, Leo Chantzaras and Matthias Hartwig, we were able to follow a truly creative strategy which helped to break several writers not only in Germany but also internationally.
“I am very grateful to all my partners abroad who chose Imagem to become their subpublisher in Germany since we had started our activities in 2013.”

Wegener is also founder and president of AMV Publishing GmbH.
Concord Music’s publishing management team is led by Jake Wisely as Chief Publishing Executive.
Bill Gaden now leads Concord Music’s domestic publishing business as its President for North America, while UK-based John Minch oversees Concord Music’s European and other international publishing interests as its President for Europe.
