User-generated DJ mixes and remixes of songs are about to start appearing on TIDAL following a new deal with Dubset Media Holdings.
Dubset’s MixBANK platform is said to determine all of the appropriate rights-holders within a DJ mix – even across myriad samples in a single track – while simultaneously clearing rights across relevant label and publishing parties.
“This is another important step in making the incredible content created by our DJ community available to fans all over the world.”

Dubset has previously inked agreements with Spotify and Apple Music to distribute remix material on their platforms.
Speaking about the TIDAL deal, Dubset CEO Stephen White said: “This is another important step in making the incredible content created by our DJ community available to fans all over the world.
“The addition of TIDAL as a distribution partner has long been goal of ours and we are thrilled that their subscribers will begin to hear legal mix and remix content on their platform in the coming weeks.”
Lior Tibon of TIDAL said: “Sampling and mixtapes has long been a foundational part of the music ecosystem.
“Empowering DJs to bring their content to TIDAL is something we are very excited about and this deal with Dubset just does that, creating unique musical experiences that our audience has come to expect from us.”Music Business Worldwide
