Bandsintown Launches "Big Break" Emerging Artists Program with FOXTRAX, Minke, Pit and SISTERS. | hypebot

BandsInTownWe wrote about Bandsintown's "Big Break" emerging artists program back in October and now it has gone live with for inaugural artists: LA rockers FOXTRAX, London singer-songwriter Minke, Vancouver's Peach Pit and Seattle duo SISTERS, and the promise of more acts to follow.

Acts on Bandsintown that who have grown from 100 to 5,000 or Bandsintown trackers in 6 months now qualify to be a "Big Break" artist and become eligible for editorial support, brand partnerships, showcase opportunities and social media promotion. "We want them to be serious about touring, and we'll promote them at trade shows, " says Bandsintown co-managing partner Fabrice Sergent.

"We know how hard it is for developing acts to reach the next level, and we're passionate about helping them to achieve this milestone," said Sergent. "Our latest program uses data to identify artists who have seen extensive growth on our platform within a six month span, and helps support them at a crucial turning point in their careers. We're extremely excited to work with each of these artists and to watch them grow. We would also like to thank the artists for inviting us along for their ride."
