MBW launches Inspiring Women series, supported by INgrooves Music Group | Music Business Worldwide

Music Business Worldwide is proud to launch a new monthly feature series specifically designed to tell the stories of successful women in the global industry.

Inspiring Women will profile female executives who have risen through the ranks across various sectors of the business – detailing their journey from their career breakthrough to the senior responsibilities they now fulfill.

Inspiring Women is being supported by the good folks at INgrooves Music Group.

Led by MBW Contributing Editor Rhian Jones, the features will stand as important interviews with important executives – but also as case studies, reflecting pathways to success for female executives across the music industry.

These stories will not only highlight the achievements and personalities of some of the music business’s most influential figures, but consequently inspire progress amongst their peers.

“‘Inspiring Women’ is all about representation. It’s human nature to be inspired by what we see – which is why it’s essential for successful women achieving great things in the music business to regularly get the spotlight.”

“There are a wealth of successful female executives doing fantastic work out there, whose viewpoints and achievements absolutely deserve to be highlighted.

“As music companies take steps to improve diversity at all levels, it’s the responsibility of the trade press to tell the stories of people from a range of backgrounds, and to share their wisdom. I really hope you enjoy reading the result.”

“As we spotlight these women, I hope their stories lead to more awareness, more collaboration and more support throughout the industry for music’s next generation of power players.”
